Sultan Ibrahim: “When I hit in my speech, I hit. If not, the MPs behave like monkeys”

In an interview, he expressed a commitment to serve the people, emphasizing his alignment with the citizens rather than politicians. He values his relationship with Anwar and encourages Malaysians to give the Prime Minister a chance to prove himself. “There’re 222 of you in Parliament. There’re over 30 million outside. I’m not with you, I’m with them,” he said, comparing the number of lawmakers in Parliament with the population. “When I hit in my speech, I hit. If not, the MPs behave like monkeys.”
