For those living in the Klang Valley, said amount can barely bring you by with the rising cost of living. However, some corporate jobs are seemingly paying more than the science field.

However, netizens state that the demand for these jobs are lower as the supply is plentiful. A lot of students here tend to take engineering and science courses which would lead to an influx of job hunters.
Others state that there are jobs that would pay well in this field. These jobs tend to be remote work or offers from overseas. Regardless, the reality of lower salaries are a common one in Malaysia despite the industry we are in.
