A clerk’s excitement over a new Perodua Bezza turned grim as the car broke down within eight hours. Despite the vehicle stranded at the service center, Nagakanni Subramaniam had to continue paying the RM537 monthly loan.

She purchased the car from a Segamat dealership on October 17 but faced engine failure by 7:40 p.m. the same day. The headquarters revealed possible engine damage due to a foreign substance, dismissing Nagakanni’s claim of no food or sugar tampering.
Despite ongoing payments, her request for a new car replacement remains unresolved, prompting Nagakanni to seek support on Facebook to assert her rights.
