A recent viral TikTok video shows a woman complaining that her Hermes Oran sandals broke after a year. The condition of these sandals are rather shocking, but for the most part, users are not impressed by the TikToker as they feel she must’ve used them every single day.

She then claims that the Hermes sales representative told her that the sandals will fall apart like that if it’s constantly used. Furthermore, it seems that the brand is not fixing the pair of sandals and the TikToker would have to buy another pair.
Others claim that their sandals did not break apart like hers despite owning them for the last 5 years. Another user asked the TikToker if she hiked across a country with these sandals for them to end up in such a state.
