A 65-year-old man is set to be charged with causing the death of a 43-year-old woman in a Bukit Batok flat in Singapore, as reported on Saturday. The police received a call for assistance around 8.20am, finding the woman motionless inside the flat, pronounced dead by paramedics. The woman’s five-year-old son was conscious and taken to the hospital.

The suspect was arrested at the scene, with a knife believed to be used in the incident seized. Investigations are ongoing. Residents expressed shock, mentioning the block’s usual quietness. The Singapore Civil Defence Force responded to the call and attended to the situation.
