The individuals, aged 18 to 36, included 32 Indonesians, 13 Thais, and three Vietnamese. The syndicate operated by promoting sex services through Telegram and WhatsApp, with a local ‘transporter’ facilitating orders.

The customer-paid fees ranged from RM400 to RM1,200. The investigation revealed the syndicate’s year-long operation. Authorities also arrested an Afghan man, a local ‘transporter,’ and two caretakers. Eight Thai women had valid Social Visit Passes, while others lacked proper travel documents. Items seized included condoms, cash, and passports.
