Char Kuey Teow is one of the popular dishes available in Malaysia. The dish has its origins in China and has been proving its popularity all over Southeast Asia. It is typically an inexpensive dish that is delicious and a favorite among us.

No “Banjir” Char Kuey Teow

However, others state the dish is supposed to be drenched in its sauce. This opinion varies among Malaysians. Netizens are arguing among each other on how to order the dish correctly. An X user said that customers should not be mistaken with their orders.

Others state that sometimes the waiters who took note of the orders may be mistaken from what the customer wants. Another user states that in Hokkien, Char literally means stir-fried. Regardless, debates about food is one of the biggest reasons why social media users are arguing with each other.
