“Do not order more expensive items on the menu…” – Wawa, an influencer, shares some etiquette when someone treats us to a meal in a video that should make many feel guilty. Meanwhile, as the writer of this piece, I must say I do not like to order expensive items on the menu if someone were to treat me. I would perhaps order the cheapest items because they are probably the simple stuff that I like to eat.

‘Kutuk’ boss

What about you? But let us hear what Wawa said in the video: “First, check the menu chosen by the person treating you. Don’t choose something more expensive. For instance, if they order spicy fried rice, don’t go and order steak,” she said, rightfully. Furthermore, she also advises those treating others to embrace the concept of not minding any food and suggests letting individuals choose their desired menu themselves. Fair. 🙂 But we believe no one should ‘Ketuk’ the boss or business partners if they belanja us.
