His agent, Ramy Abbas Issa, mentioned Salah’s best chance of participating in AFCON is through UK-based recovery. Liverpool confirmed Salah’s return for rehabilitation, aiming for his swift recovery.
The injury affected him during Egypt’s match against Ghana. While his absence posed initial challenges for Liverpool, they secured a 4-0 win over Bournemouth, extending their Premier League lead by five points.
