In preparation for Thaipusam, seven roads in Batu Caves, Selangor, will be closed from 10 pm today until Saturday. The closure aims to manage traffic as approximately two million visitors are expected to gather at the Sri Subramaniar Swamy Temple.

Roads Closed Thaipusam

The closed routes include Jalan Bunga Raya, Jalan Stesen, Batu Caves roundabout, Gombak exit, Jalan SBC8/Jalan Lama Batu Caves, Jalan Perusahaan, and Sri Batu Caves intersection. Selangor Police Chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan advises motorists to plan alternative routes and use designated parking areas. A total of 1,600 police officers are deployed to ensure safety during the celebration.
