New: ‘Uncle’ used to beat ‘Mummy’ – Bella’s Eldest Child

The five-year-old child of the murder victim, Mira Sharmila Samsusah better known as Bella claimed that the poor woman was often beaten by her boyfriend called ‘uncle’ when they went out together, Bella’s sister, Norisham told the media. “Eusuf told me that ‘uncle’ used to be angry with ‘mummy’ (Bella’s son calls his mother)…. he (Eusuf) asked why ‘mummy’ appeared on TV (television)?

“(Eusuf said) ‘mummy’ went out with ‘un cle’ and had to be arrested” the boy was told but he asked why didn’t ‘mummy’ come back? Apart from Eusuf, Bella has another child, Maream, who is two years old. The boy is not aware of the fate of the mom. Bella was reported missing on Dec 14 last year and her body was found in an abandoned house this month. Her boyfriend, Mohammad Haikal Mahfuz, 24, was charged in the Batu Pahat Magistrate’s Court for causing the death of the single mother.
