Malaysia continues to shine in global tourism rankings, recognized as Asia’s 2nd friendliest country by Yahoo! Finance and Insider Monkey. Among 15 nations, Malaysia secured a score of 2.20, clinching the 15th spot globally and the 16th most immigrant-friendly destination.
Malaysian ranked 2nd friendliest country in Yahoo’s ranking
HSBC ranked Malaysia 25th best for expat living, with 26 million tourists drawn last year due to a high visa acceptance rate. Moreover, Passport Index 2024 hailed Malaysia as the 4th most welcoming nation for visa on arrival and eTA entry. Only the United Arab Emirates ranked higher in Asia, with six Southeast Asian nations, including Malaysia, making it to the top 15.
