Malaysians Now UPSET at Singaporean and Penangites’ Driving, Calling it “ISLAND BEHAVIOR”

Apparently, Malaysians are coining a new name for rowdy Singaporean tourists and rough Penang drivers. They are calling them individuals who suffer from “island behavior.” Apparently, some users discuss that this could possibly be the cause of their driving. 

Malaysians upset at Singaporean and Penangites driving skills 

Apparently it is a common thing for netizens to criticize Singaporeans, as they are calling them “kiasu.” Netizens complain that when they’re in their own country, they behave in accordance with the law, but when they’re here, a different set of rules apply to them. 

However, there are netizens who defend them citing that not all Singaporeans or Penangites behave this way. Only a small number of them do. This is likewise to us, as there are most definitely some of us who drive in a “kiasu” manner as well.
