Two districts in the peninsula and one area in Sabah are experiencing hot weather level one (on alert) with the highest recorded as of 4.30 yesterday afternoon. This is based on sharing on the Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) Facebook page. It says the two districts involved in the peninsula are Kuala Kangsar, Perak and Sepang in Selangor.

“There is one area in Sabah that is at level 1 (alert) which is Beaufort,” says MetMalaysia. According to MetMalaysia, for this level one hot weather, the maximum daily temperature is 35-37 degrees Celsius – maybe hottest – for at least three consecutive days. #latestmalaysia
