Safety of children in RELIGIOUS school now in question after sleep in toilet incident

The safety of children sent to religious schools is now a big issue after a video went viral on social media showing apparently an ‘ustaz’ beating a student relentlessly. The punishment apparently did not end there with the kid being forced to sleep in a toilet as part of a punishment. This is a very extreme action from a senior teaching staff of an unregistered tahfiz madrasah in Selangor. Some are saying this has been happening for a few years now. But the fellow is now under arrest, says the media.

Even more surprising, the operation of the study center which was also supported by a politician from the east coast, a lawyer and a medical practitioner was found to be collecting funds from the public supposedly to finance the construction of a surau but it has never been completed until now! What a scam if that is true. But the main point is the fate of our children sent to these schools.
