Georgetown: Another case of an individual being bitten by a dog has been reported in Changkat Bukit Gambir 2, here. The incident, circulated on Facebook, showed a man receiving treatment in an ambulance after sustaining injuries from the attack while walking in the residential area.

Bloodied Victim
According to the account owner, Siew Koay, the victim was attacked by a dog. Following the incident, the dog owner was advised to contact the Penang Veterinary Services Department for further action. The State Veterinary Director, Dr. Saira Banu Mohamed Rejab, confirmed the incident and stated that the dog, a mixed-breed Pitbull, was captured and quarantined by the department for 14 days.
