Dog ABUSE video gets attention from the police now

PASIR GUDANG: Police have launched an investigation following a viral video showing a dog being abused by its owner in a housing area in Taman Johor Jaya. Initial investigation revealed that the incident occurred at 9.30pm last Thursday (Feb 22) in front of a house in Johor Jaya.

This is based on a video of the incident uploaded on Facebook showing a dog owner caning his dog,” he said in a statement on Sunday (Feb 25). Police added that the case is being investigated under Section 428 of the Penal Code for mischief by killing or maiming animals. Earlier, a 29-second video was uploaded on the Facebook page Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better, showing a man assaulting a dog using a cane.
