A viral video of an elderly man, who Malaysians would typically call a “pakcik” has been filmed smoking while he is refueling a bus. Netizens state that he is lucky that the bus did not set ablaze which would cause his passengers to be turned into human BBQs.

Other netizens then state that there is no point in advising these people as they would say nothing happened anyways. However, many are angry at the fact that such a risky thing is handled with a lack of due diligence and respect.
Some were defending the older man citing that diesel fuel is not as flammable as regular fuel. X users state that just because it is less flammable, does not mean that it isn’t flammable at all.
