The affluent son of art collectors, Maximillian Bourne, 25, an IT consultant, stood trial this week for allegedly attempting to murder the family’s live-in maid, Joselia Pereira Do Nascimento, at their £20mn West London residence on February 25.

Bourne, remanded in custody until March 26, asserted in court, ‘I’m a nice, very good-looking White boy from Chelsea.’ Pereira Do Nascimento, critically injured, is now stable. Her injuries, primarily to the face and back, necessitate at least a week of hospitalization.
The attack transpired at the Bourne’s historic £20mn home on Justice Walk, Chelsea, previously a courthouse, now converted into a family dwelling.
