Child S3x Offenders Registry Must now be Expanded, says Commissioner

Plans are underway to expand the Child Sex Offenders Registry to include physical abuse against children, addressing gaps in protection. The Children’s Commissioner, Dr. Farah Nini Dusuki, aims to prevent individuals with a history of child-related crimes from working near minors. Currently, the registry covers only sexual offences, leaving loopholes in safeguarding children.
