A story from 2019 states that netizens infiltrated a Telegram group where men were sharing inappropriate photos of women and spammed it. Then there are several false investment groups that are possibly scamming Malaysians out of their money as well.
Some users are skeptical with the Minister of Communications, but most are applauding the effort and drive to stop this.
