Starting March 8, Rapid KL’s MyCity 1-Day Pass, offering unlimited travel on all Klang Valley public transport services, sees a RM1 hike, now at RM6 for Malaysians (RM10 for non-Malaysians). The MyCity 3-Day Pass remains at RM15.

MyCity 1-Day pass increased by RM1

The adjustment aligns with expanding rail networks like the Putrajaya Line and upcoming Shah Alam LRT Line. Passes can be bought at service counters or online via the MyRapid PULSE app from March 11. Touch ‘n Go cards facilitate access to LRT, MRT, Monorail, BRT, and Rapid Bus services, easing commutes across the valley.

X users who are defending the government for maintaining the OPR rates at 3% have received backlash over this. Others state that our rates may be the same, but everything else, including public transportation are rising in price.
