Recently, there was a viral TikTok video of a Malaysian complaining that Jakarta was not as people say it is. Unfortunately, it stuck a chord among Indonesians and for obvious reasons they were not happy. However, someone uploaded a string of photos on the app making racial remarks about Malaysians.

An Indonesian replied to the comments in X, stating that there are criticisms for every city we go to. However, making racial remarks about Malaysians and the fact that our country is a multi-racial and multi-ethic country is rather upsetting.
Some users find it nice to see us Malaysians sticking up for one and another. The comments others made are offensive and inappropriate.
