New: From Najib’s account to Tanore, no evidence of funds return

A cross-border recovery specialist from the Cayman Islands, Angela Barkhouse, testified in the Kuala Lumpur High Court regarding US$120 million funds allegedly linked to former Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak saying she saw no evidence of the funds being returned to Tanore Finance Corp.

Najib’s counsel suggested the funds were part of a larger sum returned to Tanore, but Barkhouse disagreed. The lawsuit, filed by SRC International, seeks repayment of US$120 million allegedly transferred to Najib’s account. Barkhouse also testified about offshore entities, unsure if fugitive Low Taek Jho was linked.
