Temerloh MP attacked by netizens for contrary stance on Vernacular schools
Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek clarifies that vernacular schools follow the same syllabus and are recognized by the Education Act to preserve Malaysians’ mother tongue. Netizens criticize Salamiah’s stance, questioning her understanding as a former teacher.
As a former teacher, she willingly chose to send her children to these schools. They add that these schools are apparently better than the national schools, or else why would she send her kids there.
