Hot Wheels, the popular toy car manufacturer, has faced backlash from X users as a statement came out regarding the CEO of Mattel’s support of the Middle Eastern conflict. However, the statement does not seem to be verified on other platforms and there is a probability that it is doctored.

Users on the other hand state that they are already purchasing these toy cars from other brands. Some suggest that Tomica is a reputable company for these model scale cars. Furthermore, Tomica is a Japanese company that is seemingly unrelated to the conflict.

Others made the same statement for Matchbox, which is a competing brand for the former. It seems that they are both owned by the same parent company (Mattel).
