Recently, local designers have been pushing the boundaries of traditional Hari Raya clothes. However, Malaysia is still rather a conservative country, and most of them are not entirely too keen on changing the look of traditional clothes.
Hari Raya clothes changing?
It seems for this time, a local designer called Behati has outdone themselves when it comes to the aesthetic look of things. The clothes they are offering are akin to Balenciaga re-designing traditional Malay clothing. But, despite what is said, this is in fact the current trend of most fashion brands.

The comments show that not all are entirely ready for a modernised look. Some feel that these outfits are good for the runway.
The price range of their items vary as some sets can cost around RM600. Their designs are still unique when it comes to a Malaysian brand. They are also selling leather chappals for RM1,500.
The full catalogue is available on their website.
