Unfortunately for KK Mart, they have received the short end of the stick out of this whole scandal. They have aborted themselves from their proposed stock market listing in lieu of the unfortunate “Allah” socks. Furthermore, the brand is suing the sock supplier for RM38 million in damages.

Others state that the supplier will receive the short end of the stick as well. They can’t sue the original manufacturer as it could be an international issue. However, others believe that the mart has to face the consequences of their actions for not cross checking their stocks properly.
X users agree with the stock checking sentiment. They added that regardless if the store purchased these socks or not, their staff should’ve checked it all. But some users feel that the foreign workers are to be blamed.
