The affordable chain store, Mydin has recently gone viral for selling baju melayus for RM5. X users state that they’re helping Malaysians who can’t afford much to be able to finally have new clothes for this “Hari Raya.” Typically, these clothes would cost around RM80, which is already considered as affordable.

X users jabbed at opposition supporters citing that they always complained that the Madani government made everything “expensive.” However, big chain stores are still able to sell festive clothes at an extremely affordable price.
However, there are several users complaining about the clothes looking out of season. The bling on the outfits may appear dated. But X users state that those who are less fortunate would be grateful to have a new piece of clothing despite it being “dated.”
