The KK Mart “Allah socks” scandal has led some Malaysians to do things that are scaring a lot of others. Apparently, there have been several bomb threats towards these chain stores. Furthermore, some users claim that this could possibly be a repellant for foreign investors in Malaysia.

Others state that this is one of the reasons why our country is losing our investors to the likes of Singapore. There are more laws in Singapore protecting their foreign investors than us. Some X users fear that without foreign capital, our country may be headed to a deeper recession.
Some users say that the chain mart should close down and show the people that it will have a rippling effect. Regardless, many agree that the whole incident was blown out of proportion.
