The Sultan of Pahang, Al-Sultan Abdullah Riayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah today inspected the Pahang River which is reported to be receding due to the El Nino phenomenon. The Sultanate of Pahang, through a recent post on its Facebook page, informed that His Majesty conducted the aerial survey while on his way from Kuala Lumpur to Kuantan.

“The Sultan of Pahang’s concern for the common people does not need to be denied because the comfort of the people is a priority for his majesty. In the busyness of his official duties, his majesty took the opportunity to inspect the water level of the Pahang River which was reported to be receding due to the El Nino phenomenon,” according to the message. According to the message, Al-Sultan Abdullah previously ordered that prayer be performed in all mosques and suraus in Pahang starting March 23.
