Kajang Prison: Najib at home in prison. Special treatment?

Nearly 2 years since Najib Razak was in prison and now a former inmate who was at the same prison with the ex-PM tells the story. He says Najib has always been in prison and goes out only when he has to fight his cases in the courts. Wan Ji, a Malaysian preacher who was recently released from Kajang prison says Najib’s lifestyle in prison is somehow different than the other inmates.

In other words, Wan Ji said that Najib receives special treatment, something that other inmates don’t have the “luxury” of. “He’s dressed in regular clothes. He’s not exactly in a suit, but it’s like he’s home. I didn’t see him in his prisoner’s garb.” He also says he never had the chance to converse with Najib. “Najib is placed in a special block. Mine is at the back, and Najib’s block is near the field.”
