Recently, an “ustazah” went viral on social media after allegedly telling her students to boycott non-Muslim products and brands. However, this has opened the discussion in relation to how some “religious” teachers in school can be meaner than their colleagues.

Netizens claim “religious” teachers are mean

Following that, users claim that English and history teachers are typically the nicest ones. This is of course a generalization. For obvious reasons, there are a lot of nice ustaz and ustazah in school, and those who teach English and history can be mean as well.

Some claim that some of these holier teachers encourage their students to not be friends with non-Muslims. These are mere claims, but it seems that a number of X users are sharing a similar experience.
