With the luxury industry appearing to be in a recession, luxury designer brand Chanel took it as an opportunity to raise the prices of their bags. Apparently, a special coloured orange-pink 11.12 classic bag will set you back around RM66,000.

However, the standard black colored bags would cost you around RM53,000. Just 10 years ago, these bags cost around RM10,000 – RM15,000. But the brand allegedly has bigger goals, which is to remain exclusive and to remain exclusive, their clientele would also have to be of an exclusive nature.
Despite their price increases, you can still find a second hand classic flap bag for even below RM10,000. These cheaper second hand ones would typically come in bright colors like red or white. The black bags are the ones that retain the value the most, as the average prices second hand would be around RM20,000.
