Just yesterday, a third KK Mart outlet was petrol-bombed and some users are blaming the store management. However, more liberal minded Malaysians are still vehemently angry at those who are attacking the chain grocery stores.

Furthermore, X users claim that this is “self-inflicted” as the incident happened in Kuching. Others claim that it’s not PAS supporters doing this as they are busy in the month of Ramadan. There are several conspiracy theories discussed among X users.
Many claim that PAS isn’t strong in East Malaysia, hence it isn’t their doing. But other users state that there are those extremists who would do such a thing, and they may even reside in East Malaysia as well.
