Kelantan is unfortunately one of the unpopular Malaysian states on social media. They are the base of the jokes for those who live in the other states, namely Selangor. However, one of the Starbucks branches apparently closed in the state, and netizens are attacking them for it.

Following that, a viral post states that those who are the supporters of the government in Kelantan would now have to leave if they wanted the “devil’s” drink. But users are saying that businesses do not sustain in the state, hence their residents themselves would make a pilgrimage to states like Selangor for work.
Another user responds by saying that the state will lose out as local workers would be unemployed and the rent for the location will not be paid. The user then mocks the state for having a lack of clean water.
