New: Garbage truck crashes into 14 vehicles on Federal Highway

A garbage truck’s brake failure led to chaos on the Federal Highway today as it collided with fourteen vehicles stopped at a traffic light. Fortunately, no injuries were reported among the 41-year-old truck driver and the victims.

North Klang District police chief Vijaya Rao confirmed the incident, stating that the driver underwent a urine screening test, which came back negative for prohibited substances. The vehicle will undergo further inspection at Puspakom, and investigations are underway under Section 42(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987. A viral video of the incident caused temporary congestion on the road.
