A lorry driver who ran away from a road block was chased for 50 kilometers and was successfully arrested yesterday in an incident that caused the police to fire 10 shots at KM9, Jalan Bahau-Kemayan. The suspect sped to Lonek, through village streets to Pekan Batu Kikir and turned back to Serting, before going to Keratong street and entering the Serting Hilir oil palm plantation.

The police had to fire 10 shots at the lorry’s tires to stop the vehicle, but the suspect was determined to run. Police say the suspect was arrested in the Serting Hilir 8 oil palm plantation area and taken to IPD Jempol for further investigation and was found positive for Methamphetamine.
