A man fired shots at his wife before hitting a bodyguard in an incident at KLIA Arrival Hall 1 and now he is believed to have fled to the north. Selangor Police Chief, Datuk Hussein Omar Khan says further investigation found that the suspect wanted to fire at his wife who was there.

“At the time of the incident, the suspect’s wife was believed to be waiting for the Umrah pilgrims to return. The suspect fired two shots before hitting a local man who is also a bodyguard resulting in the victim sustaining injuries in the abdomen,” he says in a statement. Police have identified the suspect and the operation to track him down is underway.
