KUALA LUMPUR – The male suspect who was is hunted by the police after firing two shots at KLIA1 early this morning is suspected of using a semi-automatic pistol with 9mm caliber bullets which he would have obtained from a neighbouring country. Inspector General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain said further inspection at the scene of the incident has found three bullet casings. One of them has not exploded.

“The investigation is still being continued by the police,” he said when contacted this afternoon. In related developments, Razarudin also believes that the suspect has not yet left the country and efforts to track down a man named Hafizul Zarawi, 38, have been intensified. The suspect was still armed and dangerous.
