World champion and the country’s top Para shuttler Cheah Liek Hou, 36, continued his impressive performance by sweeping two gold medals at the 2024 International Spanish Para Badminton (Level 2) championships in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain.

He clinches the men’s SU5 (physical impairment) title after defeating Fang Jen-Yu from Taiwan 21-13, 21-8 in straight sets. The 2020 Tokyo Paralympics gold medalist added his second title in the championships by winning the SU5 men’s doubles with partner Muhammad Fareez Anuar after defeating India’s Rajkumar-Chirag Baretha 21-16, 21-19 in just 29 minutes.
