Typically, when a woman and man reaches a certain age, staff in the service industry like the R&R worker may call them “makcik” or “pakcik.” However, there are some who’d prefer not to be called that as it may seem offensive to some. This is in lieu of these titles being related to those who are typically above 40 or 50 years old.

Others were commenting on the woman’s weight citing that she might be called that in lieu of her appearance. Regardless, this is rather a sensitive topic on an individual level as some may not bother being called anything.
