Gone are the days of inconveniently purchasing or topping up your Touch N Go cards, as highways are now slowly accepting debit cards. Currently, there are about 12 highways in the country that are accepting debit cards as a form of payment. X users are sharing their excitement towards the idea.

Others are requesting for other routes to start accepting this payment method. Namely, some are complaining that NKVE does not have this feature yet. Some are even asking when the North-South expressway will implement this system as well.
X users complained that some of the expressways that do not have this feature, it is wildly inconvenient for them to top up their TnG cards in the middle of the night. Regardless, there is anticipation for the LRT/MRT payment systems to also implement this.
