Selangor menteri besar Amirudin Shari says the Pakatan Harapan’s victory in the Kuala Kubu Baharu by-election shows that more Malays are backing the unity government. Pang Sock Tao defeated the PN candidate with a majority of 3800 votes. In a statement hailing the Pakatan Harapan candidate’s success, Amirudin said support for the unity government among the Chinese, Indian and Orang Asli communities had also remained strong.
