The debate among fashion lovers regarding Coach has been a long standing one. Their leather quality and price is reflective of their stature. Furthermore, for Malaysians, it is definitely considered as luxury as a bag from them can cost as much as a person’s monthly salary.
Coach, a luxury brand?
Caleb Snell, a YouTuber who owns a collection of these bags discusses it in a video. A commenter states, “Coach used to be up there in price with LV back in the 90s and early 2000s. You know my opinion already. It’s Luxury and when people say that the brand is not luxury, that’s a completely classist statement IMO.”
Regardless, some fashion lovers do not classify it as such in lieu of their premium outlets churning out bags at a fraction of the cost of the boutique pieces. Furthermore, it is possibly due to them making their bags in Vietnam or China rather than Italy or France.
