Kyrgyz Government Now Requests Malaysian Adviser: A Historic First!

Never before has Malaysia been given such an honour. Not under the Mahathir reign, much less under the reigns of the other Prime Ministers in the history of Malaysia. The Kyrgyz Republic made this request through Akylbek Zhaparov, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, during a meeting at the Ala Archa State Residence.

Zhaparov’s request signifies respect for the Malaysian Government and aims to seek advice on matters such as privatization, hydro projects, highways, and gold mining. Anwar says this potential appointment for bilateral relations and investor opportunities is important and will be discussed at the next Cabinet meeting, highlighting areas for cooperation between the two nations.
