JOHOR BAHRU – Seven individuals, including a Singaporean, were remanded for seven days starting Saturday to assist in the investigation of an attack on the Ulu Tiram Police Station, which resulted in the deaths of two police officers. The remanded include five family members of the suspect, two university students, and the suspect’s father.

Singaporean remanded

The incident occurred at 2:30 AM on Friday, when a 21-year-old man from Kampung Sungai Tiram attacked the officers with a machete and stole a police pistol. Constables Ahmad Azza Fahmi Azhar and Muhamad Syafiq Ahmad Said were killed, while another officer was injured and is in stable condition.
