The Budi Madani subsidy program aims to fill gaps in the Central Database Hub (Padu), said government spokesperson Fahmi Fadzil after a cabinet meeting. Fahmi, the Minister of Communications, explained that Budi Madani offers an alternative for those who missed the March 31 Padu registration deadline.

“Budi Madani is for those who haven’t registered in Padu to enter relevant information,” he said at a press conference in Putrajaya. Recently launched, the program allows B40 and M40 income groups in Peninsular Malaysia to apply for RM200 monthly cash assistance. This initiative supports low and middle-income groups affected by the removal of comprehensive subsidies.
