Many Malaysians express dissatisfaction with their salaries. Despite this, some remain with their current employers, hoping that loyalty will eventually be rewarded. However, a recent anonymous post on an X page suggests an alternative: job hopping.

Malaysians pursuing job hopping for better salaries

The author, who is from a B40 family and lacks connections, claims to have achieved a basic salary of RM6,500 through job hopping. They emphasize that bosses often provide counter offers to retain employees, but this practice might indicate that better wages were possible all along.
