The debate on both ends regarding e-hailing prices are that they’re either too expensive, on the customer’s end, or they’re too cheap on the driver’s end. Be that as it may, the consumer market will eventually decide the prices of these services as if they’re too expensive, lesser passengers would be keen to use such service.
Customers complaining e-hailing prices expensive
A viral post from an X user states that it cost her RM64 to go and return from office in a day. However, other users state that this is rather a reasonable amount as owning a car like the Honda Civic may cost the same for an individual on a day-to-day basis.
Others add that some users may make an arrangement with these drivers for a monthly deal without using the app. Apparently, there are instances like these happening more frequently than we think.
